Plans and Progress

Summer 2007: Mow the entire burial ground; cut down (#) dead trees and remove from the property; plant 6 new trees along the front border.
Fall 2007: Commission Urban Ecology Institute to develop 3-year re-beautification plan and landscape architecture
Winter 2007: Have “Vision Party” at Second Church in Dorchester to officially launch the Project Angel Wings Service Partnership with The Boston Project, Boston Trinity Academy, and the Park Street CrossWalk Ministry.
Spring 2008: Hold a Project Angel Wings service afternoon to wire brush and paint the front fence; remove its barbed wire; remove three more major dead trees; mow the entire burial ground; and sweep the sidewalk frontage

Spring 2008: Give Memorial Day guided tours of the Burial Ground to Codman community neighbors; honor Veterans with American flags at their gravesites; complete the front fence repaint
